Start Your Journey
Changing the way you see education
C.R.E. is dedicated to teaching the whole student by engaging participants in activities that explore what is needed to grow and develop into responsible global thinkers of tomorrow.
Ready to Begin?
Step 1. Understand how you learn
Helping people develop their unique learning style is a primary goal. Our programs foster academic mental wellness and personal growth, unlocking students' full potential.
The tools we use:
Learning (Visual, Kinetic, Audio, etc.)
Personality Test (Strengths, Gifts, Talents)
Individual Participant Plan (IPP)
Step 2. What is academic
mental-wellness?
The C.R.E. Center teaches and models positive social and preventative behavior skills to influence healthy, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. Participants learn essential skills for developing and maintaining family, school, and community relationships. Our bullying, restorative justice, and reintegration sessions assist participants in understanding others' perspectives and the importance of effective communication. We offer relevant workshops because we know the importance of mental wellness in a child's overall development. Participants are challenged to learn new skills and use transferable learning skills to communicate, i.e., saying excuse me in a public setting. Our attention to mental wellness ensures that participants continue to learn and develop emotional and behavioral strategies. To help in this area, participants explore the following workshops and more.
Winning Attitude
Effective Communication
Managing Anger
Behavior Management
Gifts, Talents, and Strengths
Goal Setting and Planning
Triggers and Coping Strategies
Power of Silence
Choices vs. Consequences
Step 3. Develop an individualized enrichment program to reach academic gains.
At The C.R.E. Center we take a personalized approach to each participant's learning journey, with the help of parents, participants, and staff.
An Individual Participant Plan (IPP) is developed and tailored to unique academic and mental wellness needs. This plan ensures we implement goals specific to each participant's needs, such as achieving on-grade-level status, reading on-grade-level status, math remediation, and more. Each IPP outlines triggers and designs coping skills to help participants problem-solve and develop critical-thinking skills.
